Worcester Regional Airport has extended and upgraded its incentive program to try to attract new airlines and destinations.

JetBlue took the bait on the first Worcester Air Service Incentive Program, introduced in 2012, and started daily nonstop roundtrip service between Worcester and Orlando and Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. in Nov. 2013. That incentive program was scheduled to expire on June 30 until the Massachusetts Port Authority, which runs the airport, approved an extension and modification at its June 18 board meeting.
