Anyone figure this out??? E-mail from Airport Director Andy Davis regarding my O’Brien Regional Heliport (ORH ) idea
Not a chance. It was named O’Brien field in the mid 60’s well after the ORH designation, and it’s always had runways and never started as a heliport. I don’t think any airport is or was called a heliport if it has runways.
