Delta and American: Confused–HELP!
Not sure what is going on with them this past week and the next week. By the comments it seems that are no flights???
Someone help me out.
Comment from Rusty
Has anyone been able to get info on why American & Delta BOTH haven’t & are not flying a single flight to ORH between Xmas Day that’s past & mid January? Mid-January they both resume service. Seems like a weird pause in service that’s both carriers jointly.

JetBlue to open its first airport lounges as CEO focuses on getting ‘back to profitability’
Good column think stuff like this bodes well for ORH and JetBlue
Both airlines return January 8th. Unsure exactly why but remember, both of those airlines flights aren’t operated by those companies themselves. American’s is Republic Airways and Delta is endeavor air which is owned by delta operated as delta connection. Christmas time is one of the most popular times for families to take vacations and use vacation times so maybe those weeks they plan ahead for it and instead of hoping they’ll have staff available they just decide to not have flights on routes that aren’t as popular which remember too, American’s flight sucks and it’s confusing why they haven’t changed the destination. DCA or Charolette would be the perfect fit for American Eagle or if you really want to have Florida which ORH likes to market, use Miami for connections to the Caribbean and Europe.
On another topic, does the hiring of a Holy Cross grad as the next CEO of JetBlue help ORH at all?
