JetBlue Quarterly Earning call

Read Time:28 Second

Link to meeting

There are alot of concerns with finances of JetBlue that became front and center when JetBlue founder Dave Neeleman, now the founder of Breeze, predicted the bankruptcy for JetBlue can not be avoided.

These quarterly calls always paint a rosy picture of the underlying company. That said, it really was a good quarter for JetBlue. They have a long way to clean up the balance sheet, but they have made alot of changes and seem to be going in the right direction.

  1. JB, is going to raise air fare another 20%. The company can’t price themselves out. If there prices get to close to Delta or American they are doomed. They need to pay off 9 billion in debt. The reason nobody wants to buy JB is the debt. Example, if Allegiant started flying from Worcester to FLL, Orlando, FT Meyers for 30% less money people will jump from JB to Allegiant. Who cares about your snack and drink on a three hour flight. Now JB is going to 30 seat pitch, come on bring in Allegiant. I’m a Mosaic customer and that is a joke now 1-4 come on.
