First-class is coming to JetBlue later this year. Within the next few months, the airline plans to debut domestic-style first-class recliners on many of its planes.

Eventually, you’ll see those new seats on all JetBlue aircraft that don’t already have the airline’s high-end Mint cabin.

  1. The pro is it’s adding first class but the con is the regular legroom JetBlue is known for is being taken away (going down to 30”). There’s people that fly JetBlue solely because of the legroom so it’ll be interesting to see how that really affects everything.

On another note, terminal C is most likely going to be getting a $1B renovation at Logan. The efficiency of the gates is part of it where it’s easier for planes to go in and out (there’s one area from C6 to C15 where only one plane can be out of the gate area at a time) but I wonder if they’ll try to move flights to Providence or Worcester when the renovation goes on even though it’s supposed to be minimal affects.
