Delta New Schedule
Instead of leaving earlier to LaGuardia, it now leaves even later:
- 2:20 PM LaGuardia to ORH 3:27PM
- 3:50 PM ORH to La Guardia 5:07 PM
Arriving at 5:00PM at LaGuardia to make connections??? Make sense to anyone else?? And it looks like it will even land later during the summer.
In July it lands at 6:27PM????

I believe this was the original schedule (or very similar times) it has been before they went to an hour earlier. There’s going to be lots of changes with the delta schedule.
One thing that sucks though about the time the flight is back too now is LaGuardia has caused delays for this flight. I’ve been up there quite often because I have a younger brother who has autism and he loves watching the planes take off and land (especially delta). We were at the airport two different times when the first time it was a father whose daughter was on the flight and the second time a Massport worker. Both times they told us that on those two days, delta couldn’t take off from ORH because LaGuardia had too many planes going to it (keep in mind that LaGuardia is only 2 runways as well compared to JFK which has I believe 6). I believe too if you took a look at flights that were delayed the most leaving ORH, the delta flight would probably be the highest one if not second because I’ve seen plenty of times the flight from LaGuardia arrive on time but leave Worcester an hour late or more (sometimes not until 830am the next morning)
It’s one thing to have a late afternoon departure and still make it to your destination that day, but if you’re trying to get there on time to make a connection and the plane can’t leave because of too much traffic, that’s a huge problem because odds are if you miss the flight, you’re spending the night there. I love flying out of Worcester, I have 3 flights booked in the next 8 months out of there down to Fort Lauderdale and I’m trying to fly more out of there because of other work trips I have coming up but I would never take the risk of the delta flight leaving late out of ORH and missing my connection and arriving a day late with the time it’s at.
I will be arriving into Worcester for the first time. I’m only doing it because my mother lives close to the airport and she gets a kick outa picking me up. Normally, I fly direct to Logan (CHS to BOS) and I can arrive in the morning. ORH only allows a 330 pm arrival. Fingers crossed
