Summer Is Over
Read Time:41 Second
Needed to take a break from this, but summer is over.
Misc thoughts:
- Avelo continues to thrive in Newark
- Dave’s blog remains a must read like this on one about Avelo
- City issued new proforma for Polar Park we will find it
- Wife went to Fort Lauderdale Sunday, flight was packed
- Clark U going to tear down the building that house’s the breakfast place. Wonder how those people feel that donated to the GoFund me page to upgrade the kitchen
- With the new direction of the City Council how soon will the excess tax levy capacity be gone?
- Tiki bar moved to Webster Square with absolutely no parking. Made no sense to us, already closed
- Tom Brady looking good today teaming with Delta
Look forward to blogging again.

Good column think stuff like this bodes well for ORH and JetBlue
Flying down to FLL tomorrow. Then back to ORH Monday. Originally, the flight looked 50-60% full now it’s 75% full (35 seats were booked within the last 8 hours since I checked in). Not sure if it’s a glitch or actually true but if true, 75% full for a Thursday after Labor Day weekend is very good. Heck 60% full ain’t bad either for this time of year. Little disappointed that the Orlando and Fort Lauderdale flight are 5x a week now until at least January (Thursday to Monday) but I’m interested to see if load factors change and increase because of it or what the reason behind it is.
