ORH Sets Record Under Massport Ownership
From Worcester Business Journal
The Worcester Regional Airport served 231,000 passengers in fiscal year 2026, a record high under the Massachusetts Port Authority’s ownership.
“We are happy that more and more passengers are taking advantage of the convenience of Worcester Regional Airport, and we are looking forward towards even more growth at the airport,” said Massport spokesperson Benjamin Crawley.
Passenger traffic increased 4% from the previous fiscal year. The airport’s fiscal year runs from July to June.
** Caveat in 1989 when ORH was owned by the City of Worcester we had 354,000 passengers

When I read the Telegram article, these were my takeaways:
1. passenger count grew 4% year over year
2. March & April were the busiest moths with 28,000 passengers traveling through the airport during that period.
3. Massport noted that in June, the airport saw a 16% year-over-year increase in passengers, in what is typically one of the quieter months on the schedule.
4. Going forward, the airport is looking at expanding the frequency of its current destinations (no new destinations or airlines mentioned).
