Should We Be Happy Today?
Well of course, yes!!
But check out this article about Avelo and Tweed. Avelo first flight out of Tweed was November of 2021. This past April, only 15 months later, the had their 1,000,000 passenger and this route map. Lets celebrate one day but bring more Florida locations to Worcester.
If not JetBlue then Avelo, Allegiant, Breeze or Frontier. There is no reason we can not duplicate the Tweed numbers the next 15 months–NONE!!! Let’s be happy but we need more, much more to make ORH a true reliever airport for Logan.
I have heard from multiple people who have already been flights on these new destinations, lets hope this means JetBlue is happy and seriously considers more locations like West Palm and Tampa. Very good day yesterday, but we need many many more.

Avelo just added 2 more destinations from New Haven: Daytona and Melbourne, so that is now 17 destinations served from New Haven. It would be great if Avelo came into ORH with some additional Florida destinations to compete with Jetblue. Either way, I’m hoping the next new flight at ORH is to West Palm Beach.
