New Orleans isnât as popular of a destination as youâd think. JetBlue doesnât even have its own crews down there because they only have 2 flights a day that go there (peak season they have 4. It took a very long time for them to get an international flight and they finally got British airways. Las Vegas is the one of the few that needs more international flights and theyâre getting a new executive airport being built out there because the area is exploding in popularity and tourism since 2020 but theyâve been looking to see if they can build a new main airport as well to handle the over capacity. Only downside to Vegas is the bigger planes struggle to take off in the summer and are often delayed because of the high elevation + hot temperatures (there was one flight I know that left that was a youth hockey team and the kids bags couldnât make it on the flight along with a bunch of otherâs bags because the plane needed less weight to take off with the heat and the bags got back 3 days later).
