JetBlue Seasonal Servcie Seattle
JetBlue in recent schedule update filed service changes for Seattle, as the airline converts service to summer seasonal. Affected routes in 2025/26 include the following.
Boston – Seattle 26OCT25 – 29APR26 Service suspended in winter
New York JFK – Seattle 26OCT25 – 28APR26 Service suspended in winter
All these service cuts to West Coast bodes well for ORH?
We hope?

JB has seven flights a day to Santiago DR from NY. JB is an east coast airlines. Worcester should have the connection flights to NY. If JB has more than four flights a day, I believe they need to establish a crew at Worcester airport. No more contractors, JB, I would say likes the contractor vs the union worker?
JetBlue isn’t expanding here. If they were going to expand it would have been done already. They’ve only been at ORH for something like 12 years now. It ain’t happening. Does anyone remember that speech Rick Pitino gave when he was coach of the Celtics back in the early 2000’s??? When he said that Larry Bird isn’t walking through the door??? Well, in regard to ORH, JetBlue, or any other airline for that matter, aren’t walking through the doors of ORH to bring more service. We just need to accept that it is what it is. The only reason any of these airlines are here is to suck up to Massport. JetBlue hasn’t been profitable recently so if anything, I could see them cutting service at ORH or making the other two routes seasonal just like the Fort Myers flight. We’re also less than 6 months out from the holidays and winter travel season when everyone heads South. If there was going to be any new service at ORH I would think that it should have been announced by now. I can see why no airlines want to come here. Between having to suck up to Massport and the maze of roads you have to take through Worcester to get to ORH, it all makes sense. Not to mention the condition of Goddard Memorial Drive. How long does it take to pave a road? It seems like it is taking the city forever to pave that bottom half of the roadway. The rest of the roadway isn’t much better. Cracks, potholes with crappy patch jobs, and trash and weeds growing everywhere. Its not a good look. I’d think that with all the money Massport has they’d do something to partner with the city to make things leading up to the airport look nicer.
I agree, I’m in the DR now, they have speed bumps because people drive lawlessly in the DR, Boston and Worcester are both installing speed bumps, what does that tell you! With that being said one flight a day to PR and back would work well, because JB has a crew hub there and we have the customers
